Obispo Benjamin Feliz



El Obispo Benjamín Feliz sirve como presbítero general para México, Centroamérica y el Caribe de habla hispana.

Anteriormente sirvió como Director Mundial de Finanzas, Publicaciones y Administración en la oficina internacional. Durante casi diez años sirvió como supervisor en la región sureste hispana de los Estados Unidos. 

El hermano Feliz recibió su ordenación al ministerio en 1993 y al obispado en el año 2000. Su experiencia ministerial incluye la dirección de ministerios nacionales de música en Chile y Nicaragua, ministerios de jóvenes locales y regionales en los Estados Unidos y pastorados de tres Iglesias en los Estados Unidos.

Además de su ministerio en la Iglesia de Dios de la Profecía, el Obispo Benjamín Feliz sirvió en la Fraternidad de Concilios de Avivamiento como vice-presidente por cuatro años, entidad que luego presidió por tres años. En la actualidad sirve como profesor adjunto del Seminario Teológico Gordon Conwell.

El hermano Feliz posee una licenciatura en administración de empresas, una licenciatura en teología, una maestría en Administración de Empresas (MBA) y una maestría en ministerios del seminario Gordon Conwell. 

Nacido en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, ha viajado y vivido en varios países predicando y enseñando la Palabra de Dios, plantando nuevas Iglesias y desarrollando líderes.

Reside en Cleveland, TN con su esposa Damaris y sus hijos Benjamín, Jr (25) y Leanna (23).

El hermano Benjamín disfruta de la lectura de buenos libros, el futbol (soccer) y el tenis.


Bishop Benjamin Feliz

Biography


Bishop Ben Feliz currently serves as the General Presbyter for Mexico, Central America and the Spanish – speaking Caribbean in the Church of God of Prophecy.


Since March of 2007 through August of 2010 Bishop Benjamin Feliz  served as International Director of Finance and Publications of the Church of God of Prophecy. He was responsible for the direct supervision of all of the financial services, publishing, and operations of the International Offices.

Bishop Feliz came to the post after serving nearly ten years as the Southeast Spanish Regional Overseer, overseeing the Church of God of Prophecy Spanish-speaking congregations throughout the Southeast of the United States. Under his leadership, the region experienced sustained growth and financial stability.  He has been a minister in the Church since 1993 and was ordained as a Bishop in 2000.  

His previous ministry experiences include: Minister of Music positions in Chile and Nicaragua; Youth Ministries in Dominican Republic, Massachusetts and New Jersey; and Senior Pastorates in New Jersey, and Florida. 

Besides his ministry within the Church of God of Prophecy, Bishop Feliz served from 2000-2004 as Vice President of the Southeastern Hispanic Fraternity of Pentecostal Churches.  In 2004, he was elected as president of the organization and served until 2007. 

Ben Feliz received a B.A. in Business Administration from Eastern College in St. Davis, Pennsylvania, as well as a B.A. in Theology from the Florida Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida and  Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Bryan College and in Ministry from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, where he serves as adjunct professor of leadership and church administration.

Beyond ministry exposure, Bishop Ben Feliz has a background in banking. He worked in the banking industry  for 13 years, serving as accountant, operations officer, and internal auditor. He also supervised mortgage loan portfolios.

Ben Feliz was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He has traveled the world preaching and teaching. Currently, Ben Feliz lives in Cleveland, TN with his wife Damaris; son, Benjamin, Jr. (26); and daughter, Leanna (23).  He enjoys playing tennis and soccer.

   

COGOP Women's Ministry has s its goal to meet the needs of women today. We offer a variety of opportunities for women to gather and fellowship around the Word of God. Our primary goal is to encourage growth in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. So we can build up each other in the faith, hold each other accountable, pray for one another's needs to continue in our Christian walk.
